Posted by Acne Solutions on Sunday, October 24, 2010

Acne blemishes are of different types. One can even clearly take notice of this by simply checking out how they appear on the human skin. Another name for acne blemishes is comedones. The blemishes of course have an origin, their origin actually is acne. The acne result to a blemish if it is taken through any form of inconvenient treatment.
There are some people that are in the habit of squeezing their acne. Any such treatment of acne only makes things get very worse for the skin disease. It may lead to a situation whereby the acne becomes swollen and very red due to the accumulation of red blood cells in the squeezed acne. Once this is the case, it may not be so easy for one to easily get over the acne. It may even result in a situation whereby protracted treatment method is needed to cure the acne. After the treatment had been applied and the acne gets healed, there will be the presence of blemish on the skin that may remain permanent if nothing is done to remove it.
Another thing that may lead to the occurrence of blemish on the skin is if the acne becomes infected with bacteria. These bacteria worsen the case of the acne and it becomes so painful for the affected person. By the time the acne too is treated and it is healed, there will be the tell tale blemish left on the skin. In order to prevent this inflammation that leads to the formation of acne, it is better for one to avoid causing the acne any form of irritation. It is better to leave the acne untouched and allow it to get cured naturally. In fact, any form of rough treatment should be avoided as far as acne is concerned so as to avoid the formation of acne blemish.
When an acne blemish appears with a red papule and inflamed lesion, it is possibly a type of blemish that is referred to as papule. Papules appear without any white head or pus. It is normally formed by high break in the follicle walls through which bacteria and debris enter into the dermis. The papule has a way of developing to what is called a pustule. Squeezing the papule will end up making things worse for the acne.
Another type of acne blemish is the pustule that was mentioned above. This one has a white head and it is normally swollen. It appears normally as the common pimple. It also has varying sizes. To treat this kind of blemish, you will just need to gently wash it with Benzoyl peroxide an apply moisturizing cream to it. You will be wise never to fall into the temptation of squeezing this type of acne.
There is another type of acne blemish that is referred to as nodules. It actually appears like nodules. It has large lesions that are also inflamed. It is all the more difficult to get rid of because it appears under the skin.
